"I'm gonna sound like a commercial for this guy, but I feel like he saved me. I discovered to my horror that I had the little horrible pests, ,and I swear I was ready to jump off a bridge. They bit up my brand new girlfriend and that was how I discovered them. She and I got the hell out of the apartment, all freaked out and trying to decide what to do. We saw a sign that said " BedBugs? " and called the number after every bug guy in the yellow pages that we called said they couldn't do anything for me for days. The guy that answered the phone, Cesar Soto( I'll put his # at the end ) said he would come over even though it was a sunday. When he told me what I would have to do to get rid of them , I was incredibly depressed. But here's the good news. I paid the money, boxed and bagged up all my possessions , and he made my place his mission. He promised me three sprays for the money, and he wound up doing five ( the last two, months later and for free, just to make sure he got them ). He has a bedbug sniffing dog, the only one in New York, and it sounds like BS but I've seen it work. I thought he was crazy, because he was so into it, but he proved it to me with his methods. He told me there would be bugs in the books next to my bed, and there were in the first one he opened. He told me everywhere they would be, and what I needed to do. I did it, and I haven't seen a bug in three months. I am now bedbug-free. Now my beautiful girlfriend who went through it all with me, and stuck by me is actually gonna move in with me. That's right , into the apartment she was afraid to walk into for a couple of months. Why ? Because we watched Cesar do the whole job right, and she hasn't been bitten here since he gave her the go-ahead to come back. I'm telling you, if you are unlucky enough to get infested, call Cesar. He's the guy that saved me, and he's the reason I've been able to go back to a normal life. He's actually part of the reason I still have my girlfriend. He's getting a lot of calls now, cause they did a story about him on the news, but even if you have to wait, call this guy. If I sound like an ad, it's cause he proved it all to me. "I just want to write a quick note to reccomend Cesar Soto and his outfit Freedom Pest Control. Immediately upon meeting Cesar and talking with him you get two very strong impressions: the first is that he really know bed bugs, the second that he is ready to help you get rid of them. His level of expertise and confidence in his process really went a long way with helping me feel better about the future in dealing with this problem. If you have them or have had them you know what a large part of this is psychological, not knowing, paranoia, hopelessness. Cesar is committed to his clients and I truly feel confident that with his help we'll eventually be bug free.
We're not there yet, we're doing a vikane treatment this weekend and having Freedom prepare our new apartment. I'll write a post afterwards to let you know how it goes. My experience with Cesar is getting him to stop an early spread of them to my mom's house (and they have stayed gone from there) and a short suppressive treatment at the residence we are moving from. Overall though talking and interacting with him he gave me an immense feeling of confidence that this problem could and would be beaten. I also found his pricing and business practices to be excellent.

"I just wanted to quickly echo my praise of Cesar and Tre. They came to do an inspection at my home, which has been (thankfully) bedbug free since May 2007. Once again, everything came up clean. Cesar was personable, took the time to explain his procedure and method and clearly demonstrated his professionalism. He and Tre work fabulously together and are certainly in sync. As he usually does, Cesar taped the process and planted three vials of bugs, which Tre quickly located. After the 'test' run, Cesar took Tre through the house again with careful concentration on ALL areas on ALL three levels (we have a two-family with a finished basement). Further, Cesar answered all of my questions patiently. As a quick aside, I was nervous because my father's flat sheet had some 'suspect' marks that my mom swore were chocolate. Apparently, she removed a piece a chocolate stuck to my father's sheet and then washed the sheet. In washing, it seems the chocolate spread a bit, creating pinprick marks on the sheet. Once we got Tre's assurance there were no bugs, I was able to rest easy and prove that spots on the sheets aren't ALWAYS from bedbugs. There CAN be another cause. This timeNYCBB"
"I called Cesar today to come take a look at my known case of bed bugs (I caught three adult BB's throughout a few weeks). He came right away since he happened to be in my neighborhood and talked to me for over an hour. He and his assistant were very personable, professional, and reassuring. I'm going to have a treatment with them next week so I'm going to begin getting my clothes dried and bagged and ready to go for when they come and exterminate. I can't wait for this nightmare to be over and will post with the results as I know lots of people are struggling with this in NYC. "
"I would like to recommend Cesar Soto and Freedom Pest Control. He came to our apartment and did an inspection. He said that we didn't have them, and he was right...this to me shows he is honorable as we were convinced we had them because my mother, with a confirmed case, had stayed with us. It is a long complicated story, but he treated my mother's apartment and another apartment that had become infested because of a picture frame sale. Additionally, he advised my mother who was out of the country and worried she had them there, as well as the person who had sublet her apartment. The sublessee ended up moving out and he made sure that her things were treated and packed properly to ensure that she didn't take the bugs with her. Needless to say, he ended up making a lot of people happy. We all trusted him and understood that he is REALLY REALLY GOOD at getting rid of these horrible little bugs. "After getting mysterious bites shortly after new year's I came to the daunting conclusion that I had bed bugs. I am fairly sure that I had brought them back with me after a trip to California while staying in a [nice] hotel. After doing some research online and getting increasingly uneasy about the opponent I'd be dealing with, I came across Cesar of Freedom PC. In short, I am extremely pleased I used his service. Though busy, Cesar found the time to do an inspection the next day and confirmed a BB situation. I bagged the only bug I found which he confirmed, though Cesar found other evidence on my mattress (evidence that my co-op's exterminator failed to see).
What is extremely apparent is how passionate Cesar is about his work. He came off as extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the problem. I was overcome by a sense of comfort in his experience at dealing with BB infestations. This lead to great advice about how to conduct my own behavior so as not to spread the problem into other areas. He knows how the bugs act and react and how you in turn, should counteract. Even the little things such as how to tie bags to secure your clothing to ensure quarantine. After 1 week of prepping my apt on my own , he came in for a treatment with his crew. This was followed by a second treatment 10 days later.
It has now been 3 weeks since my first treatment and I have not had any bites or sightings. Thanks Cesar!
